Why You Should Hire Me
As well as running this blog, I am a leader of the Maternity Experience campaign, and I am a regular contributor to the Huffington Post. I have given several talks to health care professionals about my experiences with my baby son, Hugo including to the Royal Society of Medicine.
In 2018, I was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
I am an Accredited Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and hold a diploma (with distinction) in Feature Writing.
In March 2016 I was very proud to be named the winner of the Tommy’s Mum’s Voice Award.
I was proud to be named in the HSJ’s list of 50 Patient Leaders in July 2015.
Other accolades include being a finalist in the Best Writer and Outstanding Contribution categories at the 2015 MAD Blog Awards. as well as in the author/blogger category in the 2014 Butterfly Awards, and the shortlist in the Inspire category for the 2015 Brilliance in Blogging Awards.
