I am proud and delighted to have been shortlisted in the ‘Inspire’ category at the Brilliance in Blogging Awards, for the second year running!
These awards are run by the blogging network BritMums. There are always thousands of entries across all the categories so to be named in the shortlist, as one of the 10 most inspiring blogs, is a massive honour. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate me!
I was so pleased to see many friends shortlisted across all the different categories, too. Huge congratulations all around!
The criteria for the Inspire category is:
The content, the voice, the infectious enthusiasm of these bloggers encourages everyone around them, whether it’s about a charitable cause, personal challenges or simply rising to the demands of daily life. These bloggers are leaders in their field and their inspiration reverberates through the community.
There are many days when it feels like I am just surviving, so to be thought of in this way feels wonderful. The knowledge that the things that I get up to and write about inspires others in turn inspires me to keep moving forward, to keep thriving. It reinforces to me that there is a point to it all.
And, most of all, it fills my heart to know that Hugo’s Legacy is getting out there, far and wide and making a difference to the world, which is all I ever wanted from this blogging malarkey.
Indeed, I have gained so much from this blogging malarkey, so much more than I ever could have imagined. Hugo lives on through it, forever.
I’d like to ask for another small favour – to vote for me to reach the finals
