I’d been updating my planner, preparing for the upcoming week when I spotted this.
I do love a good quote (provided they’re not passive-aggressive!) and my planner is full of them.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll have so many things on the go, so many ideas rattling around your head competing for attention – and not enough hours in the day to achieve them.
It can feel pretty overwhelming.
Remember that old adage, “How do you eat an elephant? In small chunks”.
I try to break things down in to chunks that feel more manageable, achievable, and sustainable for my emotional and physical well being.
But best-laid plans and all that. Life can sometimes (often!) get in the way.
So if you, like me, are steeling yourself for another hectic week, this is for you.
Of course, the pronoun can be ‘he’, too! (It’s aimed at women who like sparkly shiny things).
So keep in mind next week: even if everything feels crap, you’re knackered, that to-do list gets ever-longer, and there’s too much month left at the end of your money – keep on believing.
Believe you can, and you will (eventually).
